Worked Great for 3 weeks, now resets every 5 -10 minutes

The title pretty much sums it up. The modem worked fine for the first couple of weeks, but now likes to randomly reset itself. Sometimes it goes a few hours, sometimes it resets every 5 minutes. I guess I might just have a flaky one, but I still would advise paying a bit more for a trusted brand name modem as I'll be doing to replace this one.
it's cheap and it works - RCN

It works fine with RCN. At this price, it made sense to stop paying RCN $5 a month to rent the modem. I should have done this a long time ago.
Does not work with Comcast

Not on Comcast's approved list. Tech told me they "don't have a file they can send modem to tell it how to tal kto their network".
Good modem, but check with your CABLE COMPANY first!

This is a good cable modem and a terrific bargain. I already have a cable modem wireless router and I planned to use this modem in a different room to eliminate radio interference there. Unfortunately, I found out that my cable company (Time Warner) does not allow subscribers to connect more than 1 modem at a time.
