I don't have one of these but I did my research before buying. Apparently The remstream parent company started remstream to manufacture cable modems, after they acquired some old patents, then filed lawsuits against every major cable company for infringement. They only made a short run of these to strengthen their legal position as a cable modem manufacturer while they sue the cable industry for a percentage of all cable modem sales. Don't know if you can trust a company like that.

I searched website to figure out how to set up VOIP on this brick. Nop. Geek's website gave a link called Remstream Web Page, it is [...].
This webpage deos not work at all.
If you go to [...] Nop, you can get nothing.

This modem works fine, but I have been calling for help on setting up telephony and there has been no response. If you just need a modem, it seems to be good.
