SBH Haxorware (by rajkosto) is the first real modified firmware for the 5101, and probably the best firmware ever created for ANY modem. It is based on Motorola SB5101/5102 factory diagnostic shelled firmware. It does not have the torrent crashing problem that has been a problem with Sigma-X2. Haxorware also has the most advanced features of any current firmware. The web interface is clean and easy-to-use, and the web shell works flawlessly. New versions of the firmware can be easily upgraded via the web interface. This firmware is also known to work on many other modems with the Broadcom bcm3349 processor including the Ambit U10C018, RCA DCM425, Webstar DPC2100R2 and DPC2100R1 w/ bcm3349 chipset.

We were looking to get a cable modem at a great price. We found it in this modem. It gives us exactly the same features as what we were leasing from comcast. It works great and we did a search at 31 dollars great buy. We just needed to switch it with the one from comcast. I looked up the serial and product number. Amazon gave us a few choices. The seller shipped it fast. We are satisfied.
